Benjamin James Mullins

I am a philosopher and ethicist. My general area of expertise is normative ethics and value theory, with a particular focus on the ethics of AI, catastrophic risk, and collective action; as well as enviromental, animal, and food ethics. 

I completed my PhD research at Erasmus University Rotterdam with stints at Yale University and the Oxford Uehiro Institute (University of Oxford). 

Alongside academia, I have spent time working as a chef, including for Heston Blumenthal at Dinner by Heston, Isaac McHale at The Clove Club, and René Redzepdi at Noma in Copenhagen.
